There is little local entertainment except for the friendly Ninky Noo pub and the Haga Haga hotel. This is a wonderful place to relax, read a book and go for long walks. It is not luxury living but quality of life at its best. Buy all your food etc. before you arrive."

We lacked the time to visit the adjacent nature reserve. Walks along the coastline to the village of Haga Haga and beyond took most of our time. Most enjoyable holiday guaranteed.

One advice: if you book a self-catering unit, make sure to buy enough groceries in advance, for there is not really much to buy in Haga Haga itself. "

It is very safe, being on a private beach, surrounded by game fence, behind. We never locked our house, and left our possessions on the beach, when we wanted to walk. It is truly relaxing and unwinding, but with plenty to do.

The booking was simple, and well followed up by Haga Haga themselves. They were attentive while we were there, while still respecting our privacy.
