"The facility is good and well maintained, but does not have a fenced or barricaded parking. The staff is friendly and helpful and the houses are in good condition for the money you pay. It was located centrally from a lot of tourist attractions and good restaurants.

The lodge is situated close enough to town to be convenient yet, far enough out to instill a sense of tranquility. Our unit was situated on the upper level overlooking the tidal vlei. It was well appointed, clean and cosy, with a fireplace for the chilly winter evenings. We spotted sea fowl, a Knysna Loerie and other small wildlife from our balcony which was equipped with a braai for our convenience. We totally enjoyed our stay and would recommend Salt River Lodge without hesitation. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one."
