Nature provides the compelling reasons for visiting this amazingly diverse piece of land amongst the foothills of the Erongo Mountains. Many rare, endemic, or simply special species of animal, bird, and plant life thrive here in a dramatic setting of massive granite boulders and African bush. Situated approximately 13 km south-west of Omaruru, off C33 on to D2315 in the Erongo Conservancy.

Erongo Wilderness Lodge exists in harmony within this environment, and guests can share the experience on a guided nature drive, by watching the waterholes, or by walking among the mountains by yourself or with one of our experienced guides.

The lodge has 10 luxury-tented bungalows, built on stilts, set against the granite slopes. Thatched roofs shade the tents, and the en-suite bathrooms have been built to incorporate the existing rocks and trees.

Raised wooden walkways and natural stone steps connect the bungalows to the main area, which is situated atop a separate granite outcrop with spectacular views over the Erongo Mountains.

A swimming pool is built into the rocks and provides the perfect place to cool off and relax after one of the activities.

Even if you choose to just soak up the atmosphere from the lodge deck, your stay is guaranteed to be unforgettable.
