"It's rare to find somewhere that lives up to its advertised description, but Timamoon and specifically our stay in 'Moon River' was even better than we'd hoped. The views were amazing, the lodge impeccably presented and the service and food was first class. We have been married 20 years but Timamoon made us feel like we were on our 2nd honeymoon. The private approach road was a challenge but worth the effort. If you want the ultimate secluded, romantic destination, this is up there with the best."

The chef,Jonathan, was brilliant, food wise and just being there every meal, at our table, asking about us and our day. On Sunday we went for a picnic and he packed a picnic lunch for us. Never had I tasted a chicken salad so nice. Fruit and wine, cheese and biscuits with figs (some people call this the food of love). Maurice and Gaylyn together with their daughters are friendly, helpful and very professional. Nothing was too big a problem to sort out.

Thanks guys. The lodge we stayed in was nicer than my own house! The view, the private swimming pool and the rooms was something out of a fairytale. And then we had the massages...You will have to book to appreciate this. All I can say is, go and see for yourself. Timamoon, a wonderful way to treat yourself or someone else."
