We had to lose the mozzie net over the bed as we cannot sleep with something near our faces, but this is probably an essential item for those hot summer nights, as Sundowner B&B is on the banks of the Sundays River. We noticed that electric mozzie pads are also available.

The heater was really welcome as the nights were chilly. Although hot water bottles are available we always travel with electric blankets for that extra home comfort, so we did not make use of the hotties.

For those of us who are paranoid and need to nail our cars to the ground there is plenty of secure parking is behind a security gate.

As the last 2 days of our holiday were for game viewing Sundowner B&B is the perfect location as it is only 2kms from the south gate of the game park.

Sadly, we did not get to meet Rienie while we were there, but James went out of his way to make us feel most welcome and at home. Many thanks James for a great stay that was way too short!"
