Hennie's Rest was all round value for money and everything we wanted it to be for our holiday. From the balcony and swimming pool we saw Rhinos, Elephants, Buffalos, Crocodiles, Hippos, Baboons and a lot of different types of bucks. Just think of the balconies (yes there is more than one) as a 24/7 Kruger National Park Show.
Thank you to Cornelia for her hospitality and letting us stay in the amazing Hennie's Rest house.

"A two- storey house with great views from each deck; saw many elephant,hippos, impala and other animals drinking in the Crocodile river. Comfortable rooms, bathrooms and a kitchen with all the necessary modcoms. A great place to chill and relax , with our and our friends' small dogs.

If I hadn't gone into Kruger everyday that would've been okay because the 'wild' comes to you - just about to the edge of the patio. A herd of elephant entertained us for hours until we couldn't see them anymore only hear them. These up close encounters with elephant are beyond thrilling. We saw a Waterbuck family grazing at our doorstep and I kept watch as a Kingfisher expertly caught its breakfast. We heard Hyena and Hippo at night. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated with breathtaking views of the Crocodile river. I will be recommending this place to everyone. The Greenberg's"
