"The room was great and the overall experience very good. The setting is wonderful. We had the best breakfast of our entire stay, and we had some good ones. However, there was only one towel for the two of us and was then very disappointed by their attitude when I asked for another towel. First they insisted there were two towels and eventually brought a very damp towel, which never dried out overnight, and apologised for running out. 'both' the tumble driers had broken down. Not good but I will definitely stay there again."

"Upington is just a bit hot in summer.

The venue is great and the air-conditioning helped a lot.

Air-conditioning in the bar/restaurant area will be a good idea. "

"My family and I visited the Sun River Kalahari Lodge from the 21/12/2012 until the 24/12/2012. It was a wonderful time next to the Orange River and a deck to look out on the river, with the warm African sun greeting us every morning. Very friendly and need I say concern staff, constantly wanting to make the stay at the Lodge as pleased as possible. I would not trade the calm surroundings for anything in the world, I had a great visit at the Lodge, and if time were to present itself, I would visit this Lodge again. Keep up the excellent work, you are all SUPER!!"
