Situated in the heart of the Robertson Valley, along the famous Route 62, The Haven welcomes families, tourists and business executives alike. It is situated on a smallholding in the town of Ashton and is centrally located for access to the Robertson Wine Valley as well as a number of other attractions.

The Haven offers eight self-catering units that can sleep 26 people in total. Each unit has an entrance and patio, and is fully equipped. All units are air-conditioned and have flat screen TVs with DStv (limited channels), hairdryers, cotton linen and Wi-Fi Internet access. Unit 5 (wheelchair friendly).

There is an enclosed swimming pool, a lapa and guests can braai on their patios. There is lots of space for children to run, play and cycle. There's a secure parking.

"We had a great stay at the Haven. The rooms are great, the gardens well cared for and there is a swimming pool to cool off in.
We didn't use the Lapa area, but if a group of you were to stay there you might want to use it. Otherwise there is ample place on the lawns to socialise.
I would recommend to couples, or a few friends wanting to get away together for 2-4 days.
Close to all the wine farms - Roberston, Bonnivale and Montegue. We will return."

"You know what is terrible? The fact that this gem has stayed a secret this long. Sure, Ashton is a small town and you could blink and miss it while driving through, but that would be a mistake. Ashton is close to Robertson and Montagu and has a wonderfully quirky appeal (yes Platform 62 I'm looking at you).

The Haven itself is amazing. The unit we stayed in was lovely with everything you need for a lovely self-catering getaway. The real magic happens outside the unit when you walk on to the splendid lawn. The vibe is quiet and relaxed even with a few kids running around playing games on the lawn. Families, couples, friends, groups of business men and even you, yes you will feel at home here.
