"I would like to say please use Matroosberg Reserve as your holiday destination as it is a well deserved place to relax unwind and having a lovely view and just having that fire place burning and red wine in your had and listen so some slow music with you partner chilling in the little lake house near a big beautiful lake infront your house as you come out in morning with lovely walks on the farm and dam's to swim in and just having that fresh air and coffee and breakfast at a stunning kitchen table with open doors of your lake house. "My girlfriend and i booked a 2 night stay at this establishment Two months in advance with high hopes of finding snow in the cold winter months.
As luck would have it after our first night of sleeping we woke up to a blsnket of Ice cold white fluffy snow outside our chalet. This weekend away was truly one of the best experiences I have had. Hiking in the snow to just about the peak.
The facilities are just what you need. Clean and tp the point. nothing super fancy, wich to me is better, a big plus was the indoor fire place and electric blanket as it was a ridiculously cold weekend.
I would recommend this place to anyone seaking a relaxing weekend away or a weekend filled with hiking and outdoor fun. Summer or winter"

All in all it was a great experience, we will be going back sometime in the future. "
