"Lovely setting, comfortable accommodation, excellent service and food. We only stayed overnight on our way up the coast, but we'd like to return and try the hikes and other activities."

"This was a beautiful and luxurious stay. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
It had a feeling good much like the Drakensberg resorts. We had a stunning room, comfortable bed, underfloor heating... Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. We went on two short walks along the well mapped out paths..."

The staff were very friendly and attentive from the moment we checked-in and our children were immediately made to feel at home. They loved the morning horse riding sessions in the paddock - and more experienced riders can book to go on at out ride. Tennis courts, a swimming pool, hiking trails, biking, and a games room provide plenty of entertainment - and you're only about 15 mins from Mossel Bay.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all enjoyed at the Inn. Afternoon tea was a treat with the most delicious traditional Milk Tart!
The Palm Court rooms are newly renovated and are light, bright and spacious. The log cabins offer the most privacy and lovely views. Eight Bells is an ideal spot for a relaxing, fuss-free family holiday."

"Eight Bells has everything a family or couple could desire. On arrival their greeting is so warm, the accommodation is very clean, spacious and all the touches like lots of pillows, underfloor heating, hot water bottles waiting in your bed. The grounds are gorgeous, never ending green lawn with majestic mountain views. So many activities to take your mind off the day to day stressors of "home". Our boys were able to play tennis, horse ride, interact with feeding and prepping horses, play in the the children's lounge whilst we, as parents, were able to eat dinner together. So many different walks to explore, and beautiful bird watching. The food was catered to every taste. Melt in your mouth steak, warm milk tart, fresh strawberry and chicken salads and delicious sea food. Every day felt as if we had no worries, expect to bask in the sun, spend time together as a family and connect. Eight Bells is extremely well run, extremely well maintained, staff very friendly and they even went the extra mile as remembering the way my boys prefer their food having it ready without us asking, or adding an extra bit of magic to our day. We spent seven nights, but still did not manage to enjoy the whole inn, as they have so much to offer. Eight Bells is also situated in easy distance to Cango Caves and Mossel Bay. We have made amazing new friends of fellow guests and have promised the staff and our boys that we will see them next year, if not sooner! Extremely sad to say goodbye. "
