"The rooms were lovely and the view magnificent. However a few things were a bit disappointing - the TV in the room was old and the picture and sound didn't work too well. The room service staff did not provide milk every day and we ended up buying our own milk to keep in the mini fridge. We also thought that they could have offered us a bit more toast at breakfast. We had to keep asking for more! However the quality of the food was excellent. Apart from that, the staff were friendly and helpful and the stay was very peaceful. "

"Together with my family I spent five lovely days in Cape Town. During our stay in Clarendon, we felt so much at home, everything was available, we always felt welcome to ask whatever we needed. The service was very good and fast. Meals, safety, the cheerful staff, the cleanliness of the room and the hotel were almost perfect that I would recommend this hotel to all my friends who wish to visit Cape Town. If I would re-visit Cape Town I would stay at the Clarendon."

"In August 2006 my family and I went on a vaction for two weeks to Cape Town. While we were there we stayed at the Clarendon - 158 Kloof Road Bantry Bay. The accomodation was just excellent, more than we could have hoped for. The room that we stayed in was beautiful and kept immaculate during our whole stay (with 3 children that was a feat at times!). The view that we had of the ocean was just fantastic - in fact, we spent a couple of days just relaxing on our porch overlooking it. The staff, however, were the stars. They spoiled us with their ever polite and efficient service - cooking, cleaning, caring for the children they did a wonderful job.

A stay at the Clarendon is something that I whole heartedly recommend. (Maybe we'll see you there 'cause we can't wait to go back!)"
