If you are looking for peace and quiet and the sound of forest birds then this is the place for you. Angie and Ray are great hosts and gave us a warm welcome and farewell. Although we only stayed for one night and in the middle of winter, it was very comfortable and warm. As we were the only guests staying on the night we were happily upgraded to a cottage. We highly recommend you check out this lovely venue for a longer stay and we will definitely be back"

The hosts were fantastic and have compiled all the brochures for the garden route you could hope for with the bonus of 10% discounts at some of the top attractions by virtue of staying at Masescha.

The lodge is approx 10mins from plett and 15mins from Knysna. Your closest garage is under 5mins away, the closest food store & beach about 15mins.

The area is bursting with activities. We found our cottage to be private, quiet and well maintained. The only thing at all to pick on would be the hot water tended to run out in the shower after the first 5-10mins (enough for two quick showers)..but it was great whilst it lasted!"
