Leisure Island is situated on the beautiful salt water lagoon in Knysna. There is a richness in nature and it is the birds, butterflies and sea creatures which make Greenhole Cottage and Tshayile Holiday House a true haven.

Greenhole Cottage is a three bedroom cottage and sleeps 8 people. One bedroom is en-suite and the other two share a bathroom, with a separate loo. The spacious lounge is divided by a “good old fireplace that works” and also has DSTV and a DVD player. The room has wonderful views of the lagoon and towards the famous Knysna Heads. The relaxed dining room next to the lounge has room to seat 10 adults with easy access to the kitchen. Greenhole has a well-equipped and stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher, and a laundry that includes washing machine and tumble dryer. The house opens up onto a sheltered courtyard complete with built in braai area – ideal for entertaining out of the weather. The double garage provides security for vehicles as well as housing various canoes and bicycles which guests are welcome to use. Domestic assistance can be arranged at an additional charge on a daily basis if required.

Tshayile House is an enchanting holiday home which has recently been renovated, with fresh finishes inspired by the relaxed holiday ambiance of Leisure Isle. Tshayile’s main living area is based on open plan principles: a comfortable lounge with DSTV, connecting into the functional open-plan kitchen/dining area. Tshayile House has two bedrooms: one bedroom offering a double bed and the second furnished with two bunk beds, . The house features a lovely veranda, where most meals are had. The spacious braai area is under cover. Tshayile House is perfect for families with its large outdoor lawn area where the children can play outdoor games. Tshayile House is located one road away from Knysna lagoon, a short stroll to this popular destination for swimming and canoeing. Nearby is a library which is open to visitors, tennis courts and a wonderful coffee shop/restaurant at the gallery. Tshayile House is perfect for a special family getaway. It’s often booked together with Greenhole Cottage, as the properties share a back fence with a gate from one property leading to the other.

Panzi is a lovely, large open plan suite, that can sleep 2 people. There is is double bed, and the en-suite bathroom consists of a shower, basin and loo. The kitchenette consists of a small bar fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and some basic cutlery and crockery. There is also DSTv and free, uncapped wifi. The double doors open up to a private outside area, that leads to the large Tshayile House garden.

The Garret is a one bedroom unit, right above Panzi, on the Tshayile House property. There is a double bed in the bedroom and sleeper couch in the lounge, that could be used for two small children. The living area is open plan and there is a fully equipped kitchen. The sliding doors opens onto a large wooden deck, overlooking the stunning Tshayile garden. DSTv and free, uncapped Wifi, available to our guests!

The Nest is the latest addition to the Lovemore Lodges portfolio. This new built is situated in a private corner of the Tshayile Property. The Nest is an open plan unit, suitable for a couple or a single traveller. It has fresh, modern furnishings and finishes and is fully furnished and equipped. The glass doors opens onto a large wooden deck and there is also a small private garden! DSTv and free, uncapped wifi available to our guests.
