"We absolutely loved our time at Its-Anners. The Guest House is an absolute treasure trove of artwork and antiques collected by the owners. Our host Phillipus and all the staff were wonderful. The quietness of the surrounding nature is just stunning, my favorite was hearing the roaring lions from the sanctuary next to the farm. The accommodation in the family room is basic but very clean. It was absolutely perfect for us on a budget and we spent most of our time on the patio and braaing at night anyway. I will definitely be returning! "

"If you plan on going anywhere in South Africa, I would highly recommend this be your first stop. And last stop.
Give it a few days. Relax. Let Jakkals and Marie spoil you, while helping you prepare for your South African adventure.
From the moment I met the Pretorius family, I was made to feel welcome and at home. Jakkals is full of stories and information about his beloved Africa, and Marie will astonish you with her artwork and blown glass pieces she's created herself.
Although a little remote, and a little hard to find, their property is embedded within a conservancy area next to the Dinokeng Nature Reserve, and there's nothing more African than waking up to see wildebeest, zebra, and various species of antelope grazing in the fields next to the house, or hear the roar of lions from the Rescue Facility nearby as you relax on the verandah with a beer in the early evenings.
You will come as a guest. You will leave as part of the family."

"If you want peace and quietness in the wilderness, this a great place to stay. Maxi and Jakkals are great hosts, friendly and very welcoming.
I loved the water room so much because I’m a Pisces and my boyfriend a Scorpio, we are water signs. "
