"We spent a pleasant night in the Mont d’Or Swartberg Hotel in Prince Albert. A lovely Victorian-style old hotel, where one can unwind after a long journey through the Karoo. The adjoining bar and deli served delicious food and refreshing drinks, and the main dinner served in the hotel dining room was oh-so-good: Karoo lamb shank, of course.

The room was neat, with a comfortable king-sized double bed which allowed us to sleep and rest well into the next morning!

I recommend this hotel to all travelers.
