"My daughter and I arrived at Quaggasfontien to have a break on our Journey from Cape Town to Joburg.
We really enjoyed the off main road drive and were met by a smiling Jessie at the gate and shown to our room.
Room was really comfortable and clean.
We had access to the whole place and enjoyed our homemade lunch in the boma area.
We relaxed in this quiet Karoo Establishment, stretched our legs and had a decent dinner prepared in the dining room.
We were well prepared to begin our final leg home and especially enjoyed some sightings of Buffalo, Springbok, Sable the odd klipspringer and lovely birds including a secretary bird and blue cranes, on our way back to the main road.
I highly recommend a stay at Quaggasfontein

"What a find - an oasis in the middle of the beautiful Karoo.
We could not have been more welcomed by Jessie and the dogs!

Jessie communicated with us in the days leading up to our visit to ensure we knew directions and what to expect.
The accommodation was neat, tidy, clean. Once we unpacked we were offered a cold beer and a swim in the pool.
Jessie had made a special effort with food for the kids and we enjoyed a meal on the verandah.

En route to the farm, we got to do some game viewing as we passed some of the breeding camps.
A lovely stop over and we will definitely look at staying again

"Welcoming and full of surprises! The owners and staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were lovely, spacious and clean. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious. My husband and I love the Karoo so we especially enjoyed staying in the original old farm house. Our boys are crazy about animals and loved being able to walk among the buck. We enjoyed an early game drive before heading out and loved seeing a herd of buffalo with the beautiful Karoo as a backdrop. We look forward to visiting again when next passing through - and hope to stay for more than one night."
