"My husband, two sons & a girlfriend spent a night at Villa Majestic whilst my sons were paddling the Port Elizabeth to East London Surf ski challenge in December 2008. Very unfortunately, we were only able to spend one night there as the race started in a different town over four days.

However, it was WONDERFUL to come back to a superbly furnished, beautifully situated home to rest after a hard days paddling and seconding. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed. The hosts, Si and Burnette personally came and introduced themselves and were most helpful and welcoming.

We would love to have stayed longer and will definitely go back when we are next in the area."

The apartment has three bedrooms that can take a total of 6 guests so it would be perfect for a group, though I stayed there by myself and felt like I had the penthouse in a hotel.

"It was probably a good thing that we arrived at night; the first morning waking up in the wonderfully comfortable double bed brought with it sounds of the birds chirping and a sudden surprise view of the ocean right in front of us. We stood on the deck for a little while, breathing in the fresh sea-smell and watching the waves crash on the beach. It was truly majestic.

We took the self-catering option and were very impressed with how well equipped the place was. From a typical english breakfast, right down to preparing steaks, stir fry's or simple toasted cheese sandwiches, all the equipment was available and easy to use.

The entire apartment was for our disposal only: three bedrooms and two luxurious bathrooms. The showers in each bathroom were very large and the baths were decorated with candles and bath salts - perfect for a romantic getaway.

Our hosts were very helpful in helping us settle in. So friendly and enthusiastic. Notices are positioned around the apartment for easier use of the TV, DSTV and other things.

We had our ownprivate entrance and driveway, which is helpful when entertaining guests. The apartment was cleaned thouroughly everyday, fresh water was given and there was tea, coffee, sugar and milk made available.

The price of staying at this apartment is amazingly cheap for the luxuary stay offered. We had an awesome time and would love to return for some more relaxation soon."
