Situated on a secluded little hill surrounded by farms, the cottages are laid out with enough space for privacy from your neighbours, each with their own garden, lapa & braai areas. It is only a five minute drive into the centre of town, should you run out of firewood (they kindly supply a starter kit for you). Our cottage had everything we needed, from champagne glasses & ice bucket to electric blankets for the chilly winter nights. The wonderful afternoon sun made for cosy naps on the couch in front of the fire place! We loved our stay, would definitely go again, only this time for a little longer!

Great attention to detail and a super level of service - I went out for the day on my 2nd day there and when I arrived back I discovered that the cottage had been tidied up, dishes done. They even put kindling in the fireplace which made it so easy to light up. Enjoyed the indoor fireplace very much.

There was load shedding but enough back-up with lamps, candles and a gas stove to see me through. The environment is tranquil and private. Abundant bird life. Enjoyed my stay very much. My only regret is not staying longer, but I will be back. Even though I would like to hide this gem of a place and keep it all to myself I highly recommend it. It's a wonderful quick escape from city life.
