Everything about our stay was absolutely first class. The room was really lovely. There was a very nice communal lounge and the dining room was first class.

We had a lovely evening meal in the company of a vey nice young German couple.

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety of things to eat and the 2 members of staff could not have been friendlier.

The place is situated about 10 km. Out of Oudtshoorn, which we have experienced as very pleasant, you're just on the right way to visit the caves, the Swartbergpass, the Cango wildlife ranch, Buffelsdrift, a beautiful place for a sundowner or to feed Joseph's elephants. But most of all, people make you feel very welcome at Berluda.
The staff at reception are very polite and want to help wherever necessary.
The cottages are a delight, beds made everyday, lights on in the cottage when you arrive back from a trip, a lovely muscatel ready, wood and charcoal available if you want to make a fire, bubble bath and a very good shower. I can't find anything negative really, I’ve experienced it as much more pleasant than many of our 4-star European destinations,
The food is good and honest, i was glad to taste some of the local specialities, breakfast is outstanding!!!
And last but not least, not to forget Linda, who does her job in a brilliant way, what a lovely person! She makes you feel really at home. Berluda is a perfect place if you want to stay in Oudtshoorn or environments."
