The braai area, looking down at East London, is a great idea and an excellent place to have a sundowner and relax, or braai with friends or fellow guests.

The improved Hoylake Inn certainly warrants a 5 Star rating, in the physical sense and as all aspects of one's stay are well catered for and in a pleasant and friendly way by the owners."

Food, service, surroundings and the attitude of all whom I dealt with were first class. Perhaps 5 stars on completion of renovation work will be appropriate for Hoylake Inn."
