"One must commend the management team and their staff on a well run and clean establishment. Having stayed at numerous hotels around the country and abroad, Ghost Mountain Inn ranks as one of the top. The check-in service is efficient, the food is fantastic and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. One area that can be improved on is the service in the diningroom. Relaying of tables after each sitting and general cleaning of tables need attention. The service from the chefs is of an acceptable standard however the breakfast chef on the morning of the 19th was superb!!!

"A good stay. We really enjoyed it. Currently the hotel is undergoing a renovation, so there was a bit of noise going on. We stayed in a non-renovated room, and it showed, especially in the bathroom. But even saying that, it was clean and very beautiful."

"An excellent venue for relaxation, with plenty to do for the action-minded. Zululand is a beautiful part of SA and the Ghost Mountain Inn has captured the flavour of the local culture in its decor. A lovely comfortable room with excellent food makes this a place to recommend."

There is a little playground for our two year old to run around in, and a tower to climb up for views over the river. Swimming pool was OK, but was primarily being used by local folk on the Sunday we were there, rather than by guests...all very friendly and not a problem.

We enjoyed the local singing during our evening meal.

All in all, a very positive experience"

"We decided to break our trip up on the way to Kosi bay and I had been to Ghost Mountain Inn 20 years ago and decided it would be interesting to stay there again for the night.
There were 7 of us ( 3 adults and 4 children ) and we had a fabulous family experience. We were able to walk to the Jetty and we also went next door to have sun downers at the Mkuze Cricket Club with fabulous views of the mountain. The staff were incredibly friendly and the General Manager ( Mr Sean Lubbe ) ensured that every minute of our stay was a special one.
