This unique boutique building, former home to the Secular Sisters of Schoenstatt opened its doors to visiting guests in 2002. Situated in the “old town” of Worcester with its largest variety of gabled buildings in South Africa.

The serenity of The Habit, possibly due to all the prayers said here over a 60 year period, is added to by the high pressed ceilings, wooden floors and beds draped in crisp white linen in its ten individually decorated bedrooms and self-catering cottages.

Large verandas, louvered shutters and ceiling fans have a cooling effect in the long summer days.

The dining area opens onto a sun filled deck, and offers hearty breakfast and dining under the open skies, overlooking the eye catching large fresh water swimming pool is set in the centre of an attractive country garden, abounding with the twitter of birds.

In winter, the cosy lounge is a great place to relax whilst enjoying the mouth-watering aromas of a delicious dinner wafting from the kitchen.

Our two self-catering cottages are ideal for those who wish to do their own thing or like travelling with their animals. Each has its own secure private garden should you decide to bring “Boomer” on holiday.

Only an hour from Cape Town, in the heart of the Boland Mountains and situated on the most expansive and diverse wine route in the world – the famous Route 62, and within easy walking distance to restaurants, schools and other places of interest.

Your welcoming hosts, together with the friendly staff compliment, are on hand to make your stay as happy as possible. There is a great deal to see and do in the area and we will only be too happy to assist you discovering this.
