The lodge is a ranch-style series of rooms, and the only criticism is that the noise from one set of quarters can travel through to the other units. The kitchen facilities are communal (not a problem) and it is self-catering.

The proprietor offered a warm welcome, and provided the tea/coffee for our room.

We were able to take breakfast 'al fresco', on the veranda at the rear of the accommodation block, which was fun, and it was a joy to observe the wild birds and other animals."
