We stayed in unit 4 - which has a loft which was perfect for our son (can accommodate 2 in the loft). It is tastefully furnished with some unique touches. The lighting and heating were more than adequate.
The outside area was very private and has everything you need. The secure parking was great.
We were very comfortable and didn't need for anything.
There was a separate toilet but the bathroom doesn't have a door which could lead to privacy issues with bigger children.
The only anomaly we found with the overall great accommodation was getting Ricoffy coffee as the standard.
The very nice touch we also enjoyed though was the complimentary sherry - which was very welcome in mid-July!
Will definitely stay again."

Each room has it's own quirky decor theme. I stayed in the beautiful unit that has a cottage theme to it. The rooms are very spacious, with a superb layout. The kitchenette is well-equipped with enough crockery and cutlery for two people.

It was the little things that made this place so charming: the bottle of Old Brown Sherry, waiting for us in the room; the bath salts and bubble bath in the bathroom and the list of things to do in Dullstroom found on the coffee table.

Another huge plus was how warm both the unit and the bedding was! We went in the middle of November and still experienced the chilly Dullstroom weather.

The Victorian bath in this unit lended itself to a luxurious bath for two - something that put the cherry on top to the weekend for me.

The only reason I can't give our stay 5 stars is because of a few small niggles:

The one mirror in the bathroom was cracked.

There is no mirror close to a plug point, making it difficult to blow dry one's hair.

Other than these minor niggles, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend Angler's court to anyone en route to Dullstroom."

Although after complaining the owners arranged for an electrician and extra heating it was not up to the standard that we would expect and it was clear that the owners have no problems booking it out because they really weren't too bothered about our complaints.

It is centrally located, so everything is accessible on foot.The room was lovely, with some rather interesting metalwork in the form of candle holders on the walls, each a different shape, very heavy tables, beautiful detailing around the fireplace, bedside lamps that hang on chains from the ceiling. The room was furnished without frill, comfortable, friendly, colourful and inviting (I am not a Biggie Best frills kinda gal). The bathroom was huge, with a spa bath and a large shower, along with candles all round the bath and up on the wall.Being winter in Dullstroom, the fireplace is the centrepiece. The wood is provided, just outside the door. The fireplace is very deep set so I had to climb in to get it going. You have to feed it, then it rewards you with a wonderful feeling of warmth, both emotional and physical.

The wood was too thick and looked as if the previous customers had also tried and failed to get a fire going. The staff had obviously just put the wood straight back. We were also not given enough fire lighters and they were not replaced, as advertised. We spent two days trying to get decent wood from the manager who really messed us around. On day two, she promised us decent wood at 9 o'clock in the morning. It only came at around 6.30 that evening after numerous calls to remind her. She was not even slightly apologetic for having messed us around. Other than that, the place is lovely and very cosy."

The only low points were that we had very little / no contact with the owners on our arrival and our departure which I found a little weird and my husband heard our neighbor making a fire and the sound of the Jacuzzi one night but nothing too drastic.

For full privacy I would recommend to book cottage number 5 as you'll have no neighbors. "
