"Wonderful location nestled in the valley - near a private 70m water fall. Debbie & Bob were gracious hosts and their 5-course dinners a delectable treat: Haute cuisine for sure. The estate is serenely calm and is a great venue to get away from the mad city rush. We would certainly recommend it."

"Debbie and Bob were born to be B&B hosts! We had an amazing time at their beautiful home! Dropping down into the valley between the large pines was like entering into a secret world. One of our families highlights was visiting one of the amazing waterfalls close to their home. The waterfall drops at least 60-70 meters! Before the fall are rock pools for the kids to swim in and you can walk in behind the falls. Also a great retreat for Mountain bikers. All in all the visit was fabulous and the food divine. Will definitely be back!"

"Excellent accommodation"

" with good food and a delightful host. We stayed in lodge with full board including ample wine. It is off the beaten track being4 km down a dirt track but this adds to the attraction of the place. Other visitors stayed in the cottage but had little luck fishing."

"Reaching Gunyatoo was admittedly not easy and we got lost a couple of times in the process, (mainly due to our being clumsy, I am afraid...), but when we got there, the reward was instantaneous! My girlfriend Cristina and I were in the doldrums, as we were nearing the end of our South African holiday, but Debbie's and Bob's reception put us back in the right mood! The place is fantastic: an old thatched stone house to which Bob and Debbie added a storey. The roaring log fires chased the cold out of our systems in seconds, (aided by the fabulous Cape Merlot, a bottle of which we proceeded to drain). After a hot shower, (me), and a luxurious bath, (Cristina), we tucked into a memorably delicious meal prepared by our hosts, who joined us at the table, as we were the only guests for the night. We spent a lovely evening chatting and fell asleep the moment our heads touched the soft pillows. Breakfast the following morning was what the previous night's feast had led us to expect: mouth-watering. The house Labrador, Great Dane and Pointer added to the idyllic picture. "

"Excellent Stay!"
