"I have read many accommodation or establishments names to describe their venue. Well this title is just that. A perfect way to describe this beautiful place.

I had always just driven through Simons Town in the past. It is a sleepy hollow but in the same token we literally felt like we where a couple who disembarked our boat house to enjoy the quiet little town.

The views from our balcony of the barber were so inviting to go and explore the town. Knowing we were in an easy walking distance from our 'boat'

The whole venue was perfectly decorated and very authentic. So any sailor or yacht enthusiast you will love it.

Staff and owner were just as brilliant.

Only downfall was we only 'docked' in SimonsTown for the one evening.

But recommend anyone or couple to enjoy the
'A Boat House' accommodation. "

"We ended our South African holiday hoping for a perfect stay in the Upper Deck at the Boat House and were not disappointed. Terese is a great hostess and obviously enjoys what she is doing, and she is greatly assisted by Elize. The room and breakfasts were wonderful. It was just a shame that the weather stopped us having breakfast on the balcony every day. The view is to die for and we shall certainly return in the future. It should be noted that it is a 15-minute walk into the town and, as it is on a hill, closer to a 30-minute walk back! We are both retired and had no trouble doing it and of course there's always the car!"
