I had a few mild misgivings about the location of the divinely blue Pascals, ie. near the road of the delightful town of Napier.
The room was a joy, a mix of tasteful efficiency and a view of distant fields across the valley. The host was the elegant rooster on the cake, always available with a smile and little home comforts - ice in bucket for the vino delivered with aplomb and sublime wit.
The food served by the roaring fire with the flames reflected on the numerous ceramic decorative figurine collection, was prepared with a creative and generous heart.
A good night sleep, with no road sounds topped the 2 day visit. A MUST FOR DISCERNING TRAVELLERS."
