4-Star Lodge situated in Mpumalanga province in the "Wild Frontier" region, the lodge is just beyond the Crocodile River, which forms a natural border with the Kruger National Park. Animals roam freely on the property, allowing guests the opportunity to view wildlife close-up.

The main lodge continues the African theme with a beautiful hand crafted bar. The bar is licensed and stocked to cater for the tastes of both domestic and international travellers.

Royal Kruger Lodge offers 10 luxury rooms, all ensuite, air conditioned and elegantly appointed in African style décor, enhancing the ambience of the Lodge. Beverage facilities are provided in each room.

The lounge area adjoins the bar and offers guests the opportunity to relax in comfortable African log furniture while discussing the adventures of the day.

The indoor dining area adjoins the lounge, where breakfast and dinner are served when outdoor dining is prohibited due to weather…however this is quite rare in the area. Just a few short steps from the Lodge is our traditional outdoor Boma. This is where guests enjoy a four course dinner, prepared on open fires under a starlit sky, enhancing the atmosphere of ‘their African Experience’.

"My stay at the Royal Kruger Lodge was a truly unforgettable experience.
I will recommend it to everyone! It was so peaceful, no sounds of television or radio, I have never been so relaxed. The rooms are very clean, and the food was absolutely fantastic (so good I picked up 2 Kg’s) and the dinner setting in the boma is to die for.
The staff are really amazing. They are all friendly and caring, giving it a personal touch. I will most defiantly visit again.

"This facility is first class and the hosts were excellent. The directions were perfect and the facility is well situated for access into Kruger National Park. We were treated to a game drive in the evening and we were fortunate to see a lot of game.

Supper was an experience on it own with good company, hosts and excellent food. The service was very good and the facilities were above average and very clean, and they were perfect for the environment. We were accommodated for an early departure where the host was on hand at our early departure with breakfast and her usual natural smile.

This facility will definitely be recommended to my wide range of friends and I will definitely be back.
