"Margaret and her team are friendly and helpful, from email advice before we travelled to bookign safari for us to a choice of rooms on arrival. Lovely tasty filling breakfasts. We all (parents + 3 girls 13 - 8) really enjoyed the qud bikes - excellent thrills. Comfortable beds, nice pool."

"We had a short stay of two days. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and Margaret and her family did all they could to keep us happy, amused and well-informed! The rooms are lovely with no real problems that I could uncover! comfy beds, clean sheets, sparkling bathroom; their recommendations for things to do and places to eat are to be followed even if we managed to get things wrong and go to the wrong restaurant on one occasion.

Breakfast was far too much for us to eat so bring your appetite.

Would recommend to anyone."

"Well located for Addo"

(Germany) Birgit Menner | 3 November 2008

"We really had a pleasant stay at Bydand. The B & B is very good located so that it is possible to reach the Addo in about 15 minutes."

"Bydand B&B is well appointed, comfortable and peaceful, it has everything to make ones stay comfortable. All this is true, but the best part of Bydand is the owner Margaret Job and her daughter Catherine. Margaret and Catherine went way out of their way to welcome us and make our stay an absolute pleasure. Catherine's breakfast spread is comprehensive and more than sufficient.

My wife and I spent three nights here and the most difficult part of the visit was leaving. We will return."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bydand B&B. Margaret (the owner) is very kind and caring. The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless. We had an air conditioner, bar fridge, digital TV (dstv) and even a hair dryer in our room. The breakfasts were great and the freshly squeezed orange juice was the best I ever had. The B&B is located near the Addo Elephant Park (approx 15km) which is an easy and quick drive. Our visit was during the winter but I think the pool must be great during the summer. It is hard to find fault. I will definitely recommend Bydand B&B and we cannot wait for our next trip to Addo and our stay at Bydand B&B."

"We stayed at Bydand for 2 nights in April 2014. The lady running the B&B was very friendly and helpful in settling us in as well as recommending places for dinner.

We were 2 adults and 2 children and I can highly recommend the family room we stayed in. It was perfect, with a separate room for the children, while still being connected as one unit, which makes it very suitable for families with small children.

Breakfast was included and there was a selection of cereals as well as a full cooked breakfast on offer.
We would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent Accommodation - Highly Recommended"

(South Africa) Mrs Theobald | 10 February 2013

"We were unsure about the location in Addo, but once we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the modern facilities, superb hospitality, and a pool that was set in the most beautiful surroundings.
We highly recommend Bydand and we look forward to visiting again.

"Bydand B&B Experience"

(South Africa) Mrs Fisher | 8 February 2009

"Friendly Homely and Clean Guest House. Hosts very welcoming. Rooms comfortable, but Bed rather hard and Noisy! Table and Chairs needed outside room. A small Fridge would be a boon, and access to T.V. appreciated. Quad Bike tour round Citrus Farm very interesting and well organized."
