"We booked self catering for 1 night and were amazed at the spacious accommodation offered (vast sitting room, twin room, double with bunk beds, huge kitchen). It really was too much for the 2 of us as we had decided to eat out and we were happy to 'downsize' to a magnificent double room, en suite, with air con and balcony. Local knowledge was brilliant and we were able to visit specific areas for bird watching and enjoy a sundowner’s swim on the 'Sedgefield surge' as the tide came in. "

"My wife and I stayed in Pelican Lodge for two nights with our one year old daughter. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Although it rained the entire time we were there and I was not able to run the Knysna half marathon, the holiday was still a success because we got to stay at the Pelican Lodge. The staff are very friendly and the breakfasts are delicious! Also, if you're so inclined, you HAVE to try the spare ribs across the road at the Sedgefield Arms."
