"My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Whale Rock in the Four-poster Bedroom. Lelanie is one amazing host that will do everything in her power to ensure that you have the most comfortable stay. The view from the top balcony, just outside the room, is beautiful (overlooking the ocean and Robberg Mountain) and being served breakfast up there is the cherry on top. The breakfast was delicious and is something we looked forward to every morning. The house is perfectly positioned in between Plett town centre and Robbberg. We will most definitely be back!"

"Good B&B, not the best location"

(South Africa) Alan Richards

"Nice small B&B. Honeyroom suite is spacious and well equipped.Located in a residential area, no restaurants or facilities within easy walking distance. Getting to the beach also requires a car journey, and sea view is not really correct."

"Thoroughly enjoyed"

(South Africa) Rhonda Hamilton

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and room service was great. The only downside to my stay was the minor damp in the room and intermittent water."

"Perfect"

"We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was absolutely beautiful. The shower was huge and the open-plan bath was very romantic. The 180 degree view of the sea and mountain was just the cherry on top! Highly recommended for a romantic getaway."

"What a beautiful BnB. Totally spectacular! As newlyweds on honeymoon and first time exploring Plettenberg Bay, we were quite excited to become more familiar with our surroundings as we were moving along the garden route. Our reception upon entry already felt welcoming from the minute we walked in. Upon arrival on 09 July 2016, we were welcomed in by the most friendliest hostess, Lelanie. We were shown our honeymoon suite and wow - it was superb! With the chilly winter evening we've experienced, the room was top notch in comfort level as the room has air-con with heat settings and warm blankets to beat the July shivers, yet not compromising on the beautiful elegant vintage decor. The room and bath facilities was immaculate and over all neat and tidy. Coffee and Teas ready on tray to cater to ourselves and even a little sherry on the other side if in the mood for a little nightcap. We loved how private it was. Our needs were catered to should we need anything, yet were given the space to feel free and make ourselves feel right at home. Breakfast was served next morning on the balcony with a lovely view with the morning sun rise in sight and mist laying over roof tops in the valley area indicating a warm day ahead. A hearty continental breakfast and freshly squeezed fruit juice. Eggs sunny side up, fresh steamy pot of filter coffee, combined with that view. Hmmm - What a way to start the day. Totally awesome! My wife and I will surely come again. We rate this establishment 5 out of 5!"

"Lelanie and Wayne made us feel right at home from the beginning. The rooms are outstanding and the patio provided an excellent meeting point for evening drinks while enjoying views of the ocean at sunset. We will certainly return. "

"We enjoyed our champagne reception to this uniquely modern mansion decorated in African antiques and whimsy --solid and spacious with perfect accents. The architectural design of this house on a hill, with its upper furnished sweeping balcony overlooking the crescent swimming pool below, provides an outdoor breakfast alternative to the sky-lighted huge dining room table area. The TV lounge is comfortable with sofa and easy chairs and the kitchenette well equipped with ample refrigerator space also available. There is a beautiful vista of the Indian Ocean and surrounding hills."
