"Pumula Lodge Stay 28-30 Nov 2014"

(South Africa) Kobus Smit | 1 December 2014

"We found that the arrangements were done very smoothly and professionally. The unit we stayed in was clean and well equipped. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. For a nature lover, the farm offers enough variety of fauna and flora to justify a return visit. "

"Our family of 9 had the most wonderful bonding time! The Themba Family Unit is excellent. A big thank you to Ronel for arranging the birthday cake for my husband."

"This is a quiet & romantic get away with all the luxuries to be expected when at your own home. The cottage is aesthetically pleasing to the eye & the environment lends itself to a relaxed atmosphere. It is far enough from town to make you feel like you are in the bush-veld but close enough to both nearby towns that you still have the opportunity for eating out, shopping, sightseeing & taking part in other activities."

"This was the most relaxing breakaway that I have ever experienced. It is a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, sitting at the fireplace at night listening to the jackel and looking at the stars.

Taking a walk amongst the animals was amazing. My daughter loved following the animal footprints on the paths and we even tried fishing which turned out to be a relaxing morning.

I can't remember when last I've felt like this, recharged "batteries" and ready for the next few months at the office. Will definitely be returning for more."

"My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how well appointed the chalet was and how new everything was. The chalet had 2 beautiful bedrooms downstairs that had quality linen and the warmest and most comfortable blankets. Upstairs sleeps 3 people, but the double bunker which has a tent over will be every child's dream.
The kitchen appliances were brand new and the fridge was really comfortable large.
We only spent one night, so we did not have time to explore the farm and view the game, but we will definitely be back to do that.
Just remember that the roads are dirt roads, so you need to wear sensible shoes for getting in and out of your vehicle.
