Sisters with Blisters walk is aimed at raising awareness of violence and abuse of women and children, and is held in conjunction with the International 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children.
The annual event has been running since 2006 with each year attracting more people. Participants are encouraged to walk either 4 or 8 kilometres in stilettos, but everyone is encouraged to join including your sisters, mothers, brothers and fathers.
