Ficksburg is known as the cherry capital and this will be its 47th year hosting this delicious festival. This town is set on the banks of the Caledon River at the foot of the Imperani Mountain.

Festival activities include cherry tours, a golf classic, half marathon, cherry product competitions, veteran vehicle displays, equestrian shows and beer fests as well as a food and wine fiesta. Other activities include a cherry pip spitting contest and a “ready, steady bake” competition.

There will be a wide range of live performances by well know South African performers throughout the festival.
