  1. Finding a Room

    To find a room that suits your travel needs, you can search by,
    • Province
    • Town
    • Establishment name
    Use the Quick Search option on the Home page or click on the map.
  2. Viewing Establishment Details

    RoomsForAfrica.com will display a list of matches for your chosen search. Select the place of your choice to see additional details including photographs, room facilities and general facilities of the establishment.
  3. Making an Enquiry

    Click on the Make an Enquiry link to send an immediate email enquiry directly to the establishment of your choice. Fill in the details as requested and the establishment will respond to your enquiry and answer any questions you may have. Please be specific as possible with your room requirements, dates of travel and the number of people per room in order to assist the establishment in answering your query. If you have any specific questions or requirements, please add these too.
    Please note, this is simply an enquiry and places you under no obligation to make a reservation.
  4. Receiving a response to your Enquiry

    You will be notified by an email as soon as the establishment has responded to your enquiry. Simply click on the link in the email to read the full response. The establishment will let you know whether or not they have availability to meet your travel dates and requirements. In addition, they will let you know whether they are prepared to put the rooms on hold for you and for how long, or if they work on a first-come-first served basis.
    Should you have further questions, you are able to send further emails. All of your correspondence with the establishment is recorded and displayed for you to see.
  5. Making a Booking

    Once you are satisfied and have agreed upon a price with the establishment, you are able to make a booking. To do this, simply click on the Make a Booking link in the response email from the establishment. If the establishment does not supply you with a total price, the Make a Booking link will not appear and you will be unable to proceed to making a booking. In this case you will need to send a further email to the establishment to request a final price.
  6. Paying for your Accommodation

    In order to confirm your reservation with the establishment, you will be required to pay a deposit. The deposit required varies from one establishment to another and the deposit policy will be displayed before you book. In order to confirm and pay for your accommodation, you will need to enter your credit card and contact details. A request will be sent to the establishment to confirm your reservation and upon this confirmation, you will be notified and charged the required deposit. The remainder of the cost is settled directly with the establishment on your arrival/departure.
  7. Cancellations and Changes

    Before you make a confirmed booking on RoomsForAfrica, the specific cancellation policy of your chosen establishment will be displayed. To cancel and/or modify your reservation, please contact the establishment directly with the contact details that will be given to you upon confirmation of your booking.
  8. Security and Privacy

    Your personal information is confidential and secure. All credit card details are encrypted and transactions take place on a secure server. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
